After taking the eighties off to work and travel, I returned to Texas A&M and earned my Marketing degree in 1990.  By the time I graduated, I had managed three restaurants and two consumer electronics stores, sold health insurance and construction machinery, and worked as a caddy, a bank teller and a parts clerk.  Work experience is great, but there really is no substitute for a college degree.

My first job after graduation enabled me to get involved with the local business community.  I joined the B/CS Chamber of Commerce as a Blazer in 1991, and earned my Life Membership the same year.  In 1992, I completed Leadership Brazos and served as Blazer President.  At the end of 1992, I went to work for CIC Corp as a salesman, and began to spend most of my time traveling around the country.  After 16 years on the road, I decided to trade my weekly plane trips for the carpool route to and from middle school.

I’m involved with the Chamber again as an Ambassador, and my focus is back on the local business community.  Now I can take the common sense marketing tools I learned over the years and put them to work for companies here in College Station and Bryan.  My current clients have hired me to upgrade their websites, create and place advertising, manage public relations and assist them in their sales efforts.  Call me and let’s talk about your company, and what VOX can do to enhance your success.
